Snowy (aka Snowy Angel) is an approximate 18-21 year old gelding who was one of 2 donkeys that were owner surrendered in Texas. They were added to our large transport in January 2023. Snowy’s bonded partner (Crosby) sadly crossed the Rainbow Bridge later that same year due to colic. Since his arrival, Snowy has been receiving ongoing treatment for laminitis and foundering and resides inside the Barn during snow or muddy conditions. He also required several teeth floatings. He is extremely friendly, loves attention, brushing, hugs, smooches and bum scritches. He is a favorite among the volunteers (and also a favorite of one of our veterinarians!). Because Snowy requires extra TLC, he would only be available for adoption to the right owner and facility that could provide his required care. His best friends are Pickles and Ernie who also reside in the TLC section of the Barn.
